The Grove Theatre

About the Theatre

The Dunstable & Luton group began in 2012 at The Grove Theatre.

Starting with Camp Rock it quickly established itself as one of our most popular areas, taking cast members from the large population adjacent to the theatre.

It has gone onto produce great shows such as the Wizard of Oz, Grease and recently a revival of West Side Story.

The Grove Theatre itself is a top touring venue with a 780 seat capacity venue which first opened its doors to the public on 21st April 2007. The first show to take place at the Grove Theatre was an opening gala that was hosted by stage and screen giant Brian Blessed on April 21, which was followed by a week-long run of the West End hit Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Over the last ten years it has played host to over 2500 events.

Testimonial

My daughter has just finished her second production with Rare. She absolutely loved performing in them and the organisation of rehearsals through to final production are absolutely brilliant and the quality of the shows are brilliant. She can’t wait for her next performances in April, and we can’t wait to watch it.
