At RARE, we take pride in providing young people with opportunities to take part in professionally-led productions at professional UK theatres. We understand how important these opportunities are in developing young people’s creativity, confidence, team-working and communications skills, so we invest significantly in each and every project. 

Last year, we invested over £1,250,000 in artistic, production, technical and running costs. To ensure the best possible experience we charge a nominal contribution for participation. For most projects, our current participation contribution is £179 per participant (Which can be split into three payments of £50, £66 & £66), which covers the entire period of the project, including creative teams, professional tuition, insurances and licenses, sets, props and costumes. Then, to cover theatre and technical costs we offer tickets for sale to local audiences through our partner venues. If you have any questions about taking part in a RARE Production, do get in touch
